With a great career as
a free lancer, Celina Amadeo is one of the most renowned telenovela
producers worldwide. She contributed to Cris Morena Group with her
experience, and Chiquititas, Dr. Amor, Mil millones, Rebelde Way
and
El refugio are some of her hallmarks. Today, as Executive VP for Dori
Media Contenidos and President of Dori Media Distribution
Argentina,
she states that they are prepared and able to do many telenovelas for
the world at the same time.

An
expert in format adaptation, she was called by the Argentine
businessman living in Israel, Yair Dori, to set off some action in
the telenovela business. “I now fly the flag of this group,” she
explains with the enthusiasm that characterizes her. “I am
supporting the consultancy, know-how and business associated with
the products. What I call the ‘format box’ “, she explains in

experience and almost 50 telenovelas have given her international
renown. Chiquititas, Dr. Amor, Mil
millones, Rebelde Way and El refugio,
among others, led her to the contents area of Dori Media Group and
to the presidency of Dori Media Distribution Argentina a year
and a half ago.

Champion and
promoter of Argentine stage and talent for the production and
adaptation of programs, she
points out the advantages in costs, in the quality of projects
and in the production capacity of her country. “We carried
out an evaluation around the world and Argentina remains to be
a very economic option. The Group owns studios in Israel and
we are preparing other great production centers here in
Argentina. With several quick-answer production centers, we
are facing the future,” says this talented woman. Which are

It’s more like
knowing the socio-economic level, idioms, icons, taboos and
restrictions, among many other characteristics. The same with the
color palette, scenery, wardrobe, lightning, studio’s use, that is
to say, the “look & feel”, and a clear business model.
After Asian markets
“We are working jointly with our base in the
Philippines to operate in these countries. Asian markets have female
audiences that are very close to some cultural mandates that
perfectly fit with the Latin American telenovela. What is ideal is
to work with Chinese clients and to create customized products for
them as I did at one time in Russia,” she anticipates. Facing
consumers who want to watch their programs comfortably at home, but
also on portable devices, Celina Amadeo, is one of the Latin
American producers who has paid more attention to multi-platform
models. She knows that consumers follow their favorite programs on
different platforms.
