Zabranjena
ljubav (Forbidden Love) is a Croatian
telenovela recorded under the license and
with the production of FremantleMedia
and RTL Televizija. The story of this telenovela
is universal, but with an adaptation to the
characteristics of the national lifestyle

to make a telenovela production.
In comparison to other productions of the
same genre also broadcasted in Croatia, Zabranjena
ljubav is a lot more realistic and people
can identify better with its heroes.
Shootings started on August 9th 2004 and to
June 2005 they had made 180 episodes of 45
minutes each, and 20% of them were shot on
location, luxurious houses, tennis courts
and other locations familiar to the Croatian
audience.

15 of which write the scripts and dialogs
(Gareth Brookes, Steven Zanoski, Dorotea Vucic,
Tomislav
Stefanac, Tomislav Hrpka, Marijana Nola, Luka
Rukavina, Matija Klukovic, Nikolina Culjak,
