The company prepared
a varied offer of finished products of
different genres. In their wide catalog
telenovelas are the protagonists. Youth
ones willing to conquer multiple markets
in 2006 stand out. |
n Argentina, Telefe
Internacional is the top exporter of
finished products thanks to the distribution
of both their own productions and those from
other major companies in the country. One of
the big attractions of their 2006 offer is Se
dice amor. “This telenovela, starred
by Juan Darthés and
Eugenia Tobál was launched
in its country of origin last December and lead
the slot scoring a 20.7 point rating and 53.5%
share in its first week of broadcasting,”
asserts Silvana D’Angelo,
Marketing and International Sales Manager at
the company.
The second launching is planned for 2006 and
is called El refugio, a youth telenovela
with a musical theme from Dori Media
International, co-producer of the successful
Rebelde Way and Floricienta.
“This series has an important line for
derivative merchandising and will be included
in the catalog. We’re absolutely certain
that it will be the most watched telenovela
in Argentina in 2006.”
Another successful telenovela
included in the catalog is Amor en custodia,
produced by Enrique Estevanez
and starred by Osvaldo Laport
and Soledad Silveyra,”
says D’Angelo and adds that “it
was broadcasted in the 1.30 pm slot and scored
a 21.6 point annual average rating and 50.8%
share, apart from having an increasing audience
throughout the development of the story.”
NATPE will be the ideal setting for announcing
the return of Chiquititas, the children
series that has been sold to more than 40 countries
all over the world and generated a movie, 6
CDs, a magazine (6,700,000 copies), 461 theater
performances (attended by over 1 million spectators),
more than 40 merchandising licenses
and a profitable web business.
“After 6 successful seasons –aired
between 1995 and 2001– the launching of
this new version, produced by Cris Morena
Group, RGB and Telefe Contenidos, is
due to take place in March 2006,” assures
the Sales Manager.
Additionally, Telefe International will air
Alma pirata (a youth series from Cris
Morena Group and RGB, the producers
of Floricienta and Rebelde Way),
which will be one of the strongest bets for
young audiences in 2006. Doctor miniatura
(children fiction and
entertainment program: a
new concept introduced by Endemol Argentina),
Ambiciones (a love thriller from Telefe
Contenidos), Numeral 15 (8 serial program
episodes directed by the most prestigious Argentinean
directors and produced by Endemol, based on
an original idea of Fire Entertainment), Amor
mio (a love comedy from Cris Morena Group
and RGB), Sálvame María
(a telenovela from Redlojo Entertain-ment)
and the 2005 season of Floricienta,
among others.
