The selection was made with
the artistic representation company, Gabriel
Blanco, one of the biggest in Mexico
City, which has first-rate telenovela artists.
From 20 actors who
showed up, only two remained: Juan Pablo
Medina, several times protagonist of
TV Azteca telenovelas (Las
Juanas, Soñarás, Cuando seas mía,
El país de las mujeres, Enamorarte,
among others) and the actress Paola
Toyos, the beautiful protagonist of
Nunca te diré adiós,

Iguana productions).
They play brother and sister,
Enrique and Alejandra, who will go from Mexico
to Croatia –he will go there to play soccer,
and she will accompany him since her boyfriend
has just stood her up at the altar.
The actors will be
performing their characters in Croatia for 5
weeks. They will speak Spanish between each
other but they will communicate in English with
the Croatian characters, therefore, some scenes
will be subtitled for the European audience.

of January in Zagreb.
