Dori Media Group (DMG), the international media group active in the field of telenovelas, has announced the establishment of its latest addition to the
group, an international distribution company – Dori Media Distribution. Until now Dori Media telenovelas were distributed by Telefe International. However, since it began productions in 2002, Dori Media has gathered the amazing number of 3000 telenovela hours in its library, and now has enough successful titles to more than justify an in-house distribution arm. Dori Media Distribution will not distribute only DMG's Telenovelas, but also telenovelas of other producers. Negotiations have been on-going with several producers to join the Dori catalog. To date, DMG's telenovelas have been sold in over 50 countries. Dori Media Distribution intends to increase this number and develop new markets. Dori Media Distribution's headquarters will be in Switzerland, with offices in Buenos Aires and Israel and representatives in Manila, Philippines, and soon in Miami..
 
Dori Media Group launched its new area completely devoted to international distribution. It is DMD, which will have global representation, covering from Latin to North America and Europe, the Middle East and Asia. So far, Dori Media telenovelas have
been distributed through its Argentinean partner Telefe International, with whom it will continue working in other aspects.
The arrival of DMD aims to increase the ability of the Group to explore and penetrate new markets, while it also keeps a complete control of its sales chain.
For this great challenge, the group selected one of the most experienced personalities worldwide: Silvana D’Angelo, who was appointed Head of International Sales & Marketing to lead the new DMD sales team. D’Angelo has over 10 years’ experience in content distribution, specializing in the telenovela and series genres. That is the reason why she will surely make use of all her experience to place DMD products on screens the world over.

Dori Media at Discop

The company will be present at DISCOP 2006 together with Nadav Palti, its President and CEO, presenting its company as well as its international channel Televiva and making a screening of its latest productions, among which we can mention: Sos mi vida, El refugio, Collar de esmeraldas, Juanita la soltera, Rebelde Way, 4 Caminos, Fortuna de amor and Rincón de luz. But also other titles like Floricienta, Hombres de honor, Padre Coraje and Amor mío.
