Talking about Cris Morena is referring to a woman who seems to touch every new project she ventures with a magic wand. Her name is synonym for success and her prog r a m s a r e r e n ow n e d worldwide.

Just to give an example, Floricienta was sold to various markets before it was aired locally. Rebelde way, Chiquititas, Floricienta, Amor mío and Alma pirata are titles known by everyone and make Cris Morena Group keep its head held high.

Business by-products

The production company’s strength is the development of contents for children, teenagers and families, but it also generates by-products and related businesses such as magazines, plays / music shows, CDs, products’ licenses and SMS, among others.

Are the shows the backbone of your structure and then the by-products turn out?
Yes, depending on the target of the program, we develop licenses for over 250 articles and for this we have an arts department that controls this aspect of the business, both for the local and international markets.

The main categories are: cookies, chocolates, chewing gum, comics, dolls, back-to-school products, watches, footwear, clothing, board games, toys, bicycles, etc.

How are the licenses managed in the international market? We are in more than 30 countries and we can divide them in two types of markets: the buyers of canned products and the buyers of formats. For the former, we offer product licenses with the brands of our programs. In some countries we directly sell the master license and we provide the know-how, and in others we send a sales team to contact license holders in different categories.

And for the buyers of formats?
In the business department, we are in charge of providing all of our support and know-how in order to make the most out of by-products since we know exactly how to improve business for our customers.
